Power Apps & Power Automate Masterclass in Singapore

This hands-on Power Apps and Power Automate course in Singapore shows you how to build real business apps and automate everyday workflows without writing traditional code. Over two days in the classroom you will go from idea to a working, deployable app — connecting to your data, designing screens, and wiring up the automation that runs behind them.

You will work with the Microsoft Power Platform end to end — Power Apps for low-code Canvas apps, Power Automate for approvals and notifications, and SharePoint as a shared data source. By the close of the course you will have built and tested an app of your own and know how to roll it out to colleagues.

What You Will Learn

  • Build low-code Canvas apps that run on the web, desktop, iOS, and Android.
  • Connect to data sources, filter results, and customise the experience with controls, properties, and Excel-like formulas.
  • Store and retrieve data using SharePoint lists and the Form control.
  • Automate approvals, notifications, and record updates with Power Automate flows.
  • Add conditional logic and multi-step approvals that span several apps.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy a complete app from scratch.

  • A clear idea of a process you would like to automate or turn into an app.
  • Willingness to learn Microsoft’s low-code tools, building from prototype through to deployment.

Course Outline

Day 1 — Building Apps with Power Apps

  • Power Apps foundations — connect to data sources, filter results, and learn the core concepts of Canvas apps.
  • Screens & navigation — use controls, properties, formulas, and actions to shape the user experience.
  • App settings & sharing — configure, save, share, and run your app on a mobile device.
  • SharePoint as your data store — create and customise lists, use the Form control, and save data back to SharePoint.
  • Lists as an app source — use SharePoint lists to create and update Power Apps.

Day 2 — Automating Workflows with Power Automate

  • Power Automate basics — trigger a flow when a SharePoint row is created and send approval requests.
  • Approval logic — add conditional branching, update records with statuses and approver comments, and track flow runs from the Approval centre on web and mobile.
  • Multi-step approvals — build complex flows that connect multiple and third-party apps, with advanced automation tips and tricks.
  • Build your own app from scratch — design the layout, configure the database or SharePoint list, create the screens, wire up automation, then debug, test, and deploy to your users.
